In my dreams the sky is bright

It’s a nice pure blue dotted with white.

The grass is green everywhere

You can see the daisy patches here and there.

The people are kind to one another

They treat each other like sister and brother.

Everyday is the best day ever

But in reality it’s the best day never

In reality the sky is bleak and gray

It makes me want to run far away.

In reality the people are mean.

No one looks at the inside

The grass is yellow not green

I feel as if I’m looking on the outside

Dreams are better than reality.

One day my dreams will be reality.
